Financial Management Determination 2019

I make the following determination under section 6(7)(a) of the Financial Management Act 2016 .

1.   Short title

This determination may be cited as the Financial Management Determination 2019 .

2.   Commencement

This determination takes effect on the day on which the Financial Management Act 2016 commences.

3.   Financial management provisions of certain Agencies are not suspended

The provisions, in the following Acts, in respect of the financial management of the Agencies to which the Acts relate, are not suspended:

(a) Fire Service Act 1979 ;

(b) Inland Fisheries Act 1995 ;

(c) Marine and Safety Authority Act 1997 ;

(d) Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens Act 2002 ;

(e) Tasmanian Development Act 1983 ;

(f) Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery Act 2017 ;

(g) Training and Workforce Development Act 2013 .

This determination ensures that provisions, in certain Acts, in respect of the financial management of certain Agencies, are not suspended under the Financial Management Act 2016 .
