Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Risk Assessment for Child-Related Activities) Amendment Order 2019
I make the following order under section 26 of the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 .

This order may be cited as the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Risk Assessment for Child-Related Activities) Amendment Order 2019 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Risk Assessment for Child-related Activities) Order 2014 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Clause 10 amended (Issue of notices of intent to refuse, suspend or cancel registration)
Clause 10 of the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by omitting from subclause (1)(a) "of, or charged with," and substituting "of";(b) by omitting from subclause (1)(b) "commission, or alleged commission," and substituting "commission";(c) by omitting from subclause (2)(a) "of, or charged with," and substituting "of";(d) by omitting from subclause (2)(b) "commission, or alleged commission," and substituting "commission".
This order is revoked on the first anniversary of the day on which it takes effect.

This order amends the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Risk Assessment for Child-related Activities) Order 2014 to remove the obligation on the Registrar to issue a notice of intent to refuse, suspend or cancel the registration of a person if the person has been charged with, but not convicted of, an offence specified in Schedule 1 to that Order.
