Administrative Arrangements (Removal of Inconsistency) Order 2018
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 5(2) of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .

PART 1 - Preliminary
This order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements (Removal of Inconsistency) Order 2018 .
This order takes effect on 1 July 2018.
PART 2 - Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2005 Amended
In this Part, the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2005 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Section 44C amended (Disclosure of information to parent, guardian or carer)
Section 44C(1) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting " Public Health Act 1997 " and substituting " Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act 1997 ".
PART 3 - Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Regulations 2016 Amended
In this Part, the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Regulations 2016 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
6. Regulation 10 amended (Prescribed entities)
Regulation 10(b) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "Department of Health and Human Services" and substituting "Department of Communities Tasmania".

This order amends the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2005 and the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Regulations 2016 so as to replace certain references that are inconsistent with administrative arrangements made under the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .
