Explosive Amendment Regulations 2017

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Explosives Act 2012 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Explosive Amendment Regulations 2017 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 2017 commence.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Explosives Regulations 2012 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 29 amended (Maritime import and export – port controls)

Regulation 29(1) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " regulation 5 of the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 2007 " from the definition of recognised port and substituting "regulation 4 of the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 2017".
