Anatomical Examinations Order 2017

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 26 of the Anatomical Examinations Act 2006 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Anatomical Examinations Order 2017 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Act

In this order, the Anatomical Examinations Act 2006 is referred to as the Principal Act.

4.    Section 3 amended (Interpretation)

Section 3(1) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the definition of Faculty and substituting the following definition:
Faculty means the Faculty of Health in the University of Tasmania;

5.   Revocation

This order is revoked on the three hundred and sixty fifth day from the day on which it takes effect.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Anatomical Examinations Act 2006 to update the definition of Faculty in that Act, to refer to the Faculty of Health in the University of Tasmania.
