Nature Conservation (Open Seasons) Amendment (Deer) Order 2016
I make the following order under section 30(1) of the Nature Conservation Act 2002 .

This order may be cited as the Nature Conservation (Open Seasons) Amendment (Deer) Order 2016 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Nature Conservation (Open Seasons) Order 2004 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Clause 9 amended (Open season for European fallow deer)
Clause 9 of the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) "1 March" and substituting "28 February";(b) by omitting from paragraph (b)(i) "1 March" and substituting "28 February".

This order amends the Nature Conservation (Open Seasons) Order 2004 by altering the dates of the open seasons for adult male European fallow deer and antlerless European fallow deer.
