Radiation Protection Amendment Regulations 2016

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Radiation Protection Act 2005 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Radiation Protection Amendment Regulations 2016 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which the Building Act 2016 commences.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Radiation Protection Regulations 2016 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 27 amended (Plumbing standards)

Regulation 27(b) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " Building Act 2000 " and substituting " Building Act 2016 ".

These regulations amend the Radiation Protection Regulations 2016 to update a legislative reference consequent on the commencement of the Building Act 2016 .
