Poisons (Midwifery Substances) Amendment Order 2016
I make the following order under section 3 of the Poisons Act 1971 .

This order may be cited as the Poisons (Midwifery Substances) Amendment Order 2016 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Poisons (Midwifery Substances) Order 2011 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Schedule 1 amended (Midwifery Restricted Substances)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by inserting the following item after item 1 :1N. Benztropine.(b) by inserting the following item after item 6 :6G. Clotrimazole.(c) by inserting the following items after item 8 :8G. Domperidone.8N. Ergometrine.(d) by inserting the following item after item 12 :12G. Lignocaine.(e) by inserting the following item after item 14 :14N. Naloxone.(f) by inserting the following items after item 15 :15G. Nitrous Oxide.15N. Nystatin.15T. Oxytocin.

This order amends the Poisons (Midwifery Substances) Order 2011 by declaring further midwifery restricted substances for the purposes of the Poisons Act 1971 .
