Threatened Species Protection Order (No. 2) 2016
I make the following order under section 13(5) of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 .

This order may be cited as the Threatened Species Protection Order (No. 2) 2016 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Schedule 3 amended (Taxa of native flora and fauna which are endangered)
Division 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:(a) by adding after item 39A in Subdivision 1 the following:

(b) by omitting item 30 from Subdivision 2 ;(c) by adding after item 53 in Subdivision 2 the following:

(d) by omitting "M.A.Clem," from column 3 of item 55 in Subdivision 2 and substituting "M.A.Clem.,";(e) by adding after item 1 in Subdivision 3 the following:

(f) by omitting item 5 from Subdivision 3 .
5. Schedule 4 amended (Taxa of native flora and fauna which are vulnerable)
Division 2 of Part 2 of Schedule 4 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:(a) by adding after item 2B the following:

(b) by adding after item 3 the following:

6. Schedule 5 amended (Taxa of native flora and fauna which are rare)
Schedule 5 to the Principal Act is amended by omitting item 74 from Division 2 of Part 2 .
This order is revoked on the three hundred and sixty fifth day from the day on which it takes effect.

This order amends certain Schedules of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 by –(a) adding certain species to, and omitting certain species from, the Schedules of endangered, vulnerable and rare flora and fauna; and(b) updating a taxonomic reference in those Schedules.
