Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Amendment Order 2016
I make the following order under section 123G(1) of the Water Management Act 1999 .

This order may be cited as the Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Amendment Order 2016 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Order 2009 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Clause 4 amended (Exemption)
Clause 4 of the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by omitting subparagraph (ii) from paragraph (a) ;(b) by omitting paragraph (c) ;(c) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (e) :(ea) the River Clyde Trust, a trust reconstituted under section 308 of the Water Management Act 1999 ;

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the order)
This order amends the Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Order 2009 by –(a) omitting the Shannon Clyde Water Company Ltd. (ACN 132 740 437) from the list of bodies corporate under the Corporations Act to which Part 6A of the Water Management Act 1999 does not apply; and(b) omitting certain councils from the list of water entities to which Part 6A of the Water Management Act 1999 does not apply; and(c) declaring the River Clyde Trust to be a water entity to which Part 6A of the Water Management Act 1999 does not apply.
