Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Amendment Regulations 2015
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Traffic Act 1925 .

These regulations may be cited as the Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Amendment Regulations 2015 .
(1) Except as provided in this regulation, these regulations take effect on the day on which the making of these regulations is notified in the Gazette.(2) Regulation 4 takes effect on the day on which section 31 of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (Tasmania) Act 2013 commences.
In these regulations, the Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Regulations 2011 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Schedule 1 amended (Traffic infringement notice offences)
Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting items 83 , 84 and 85 from Division 1 ;(b) by omitting items 657 , 658 , 659 , 660 , 661 , 662 , 663 , 664 , 665 , 666 , 667 , 668 , 669 , 670 , 671 , 672 , 673 , 674 , 675 , 676 , 677 , 678 , 679 , 680 , 681 , 682 , 683 , 684 , 685 , 686 , 687 , 688 , 689 , 690 , 691 , 692 , 693 , 694 , 695 , 696 , 697 , 698 , 699 , 700 , 701 , 702 , 703 , 704 , 705 and 706 from Subdivision 3 of Division 3 .
The legislation specified in Schedule 1 is rescinded.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations (a) amend the Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Regulations 2011 by revising the schedule of traffic infringement notice offences in line with recent changes to the Vehicle and Traffic (Vehicle Operations) Regulations 2014 made consequent on the commencement of the fatigue management provisions of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (Tasmania); and(b) rescind regulations that have been made redundant by those recent changes.
