Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Amendment Regulations 2015

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Public Health Act 1997 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Amendment Regulations 2015 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on 1 March 2015.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Regulations 2009 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 4 amended (Fees)

Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:
(a) by omitting from subregulation (1) "207 fee units" and substituting "239 fee units";
(b) by omitting from subregulation (2) "207 fee units" and substituting "239 fee units";
(c) by omitting subregulations (3) and (4) .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Regulations 2009 by –
(a) increasing the fees payable for the application, or renewal, of a tobacco seller's licence; and
(b) removing certain spent provisions.
