Primary Produce Safety (General) Regulations 2014
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Primary Produce Safety Act 2011 .

These regulations may be cited as the Primary Produce Safety (General) Regulations 2014 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which Part 3 of the Primary Produce Safety Act 2011 commences.
In these regulations –Act means the Primary Produce Safety Act 2011 .
4. Application fee for food safety auditors
For section 58(6)(b) of the Act, the prescribed fee for an application for approval to be a food safety auditor is 175 fee units.
For section 53 of the Act –(a) an offence against a provision of the Act specified in column 1 of the table in Schedule 1 is prescribed as an offence for which an infringement notice may be issued and served; and(b) a penalty specified in column 2 of the table in Schedule 1 is prescribed as the penalty for a natural person for the offence specified in column 1 of the table; and(c) a penalty specified in column 3 of the table in Schedule 1 is prescribed as the penalty for a body corporate for the offence specified in column 1 of the table.

These regulations prescribe, for the purpose of the Primary Produce Safety Act 2011 –(a) the application fee for an application for approval to be a food safety auditor; and(b) infringement notice offences and the penalties payable for those infringement notice offences.
