Electricity Supply Industry Concession Amendment Order 2013
I make the following order under section 43D of the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995 .

This order may be cited as the Electricity Supply Industry Concession Amendment Order 2013 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Electricity Supply Industry Concession Order 2013 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Clause 3 amended (Interpretation)
Clause 3(1) of the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by omitting "machine;" from paragraph (g) of the definition of approved home-based life support machine and substituting "machine; and";(b) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (g) of the definition of approved home-based life support machine :(h) a left ventricular assist device;
5. Schedule 1 amended (Concessions in respect of life support systems)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended by inserting the following item after item 7 :

This order amends the Electricity Supply Industry Concession Order 2013 by adding left ventricular assist devices to the list of devices in relation to which concessions are to be granted.
