Teachers Registration Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2013

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Teachers Registration Act 2000 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Teachers Registration Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2013 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the seventh day after the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Teachers Registration Regulations 2011 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Fees)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after item 9 the following items:

Application for verification of qualifications –

 
 

(a) for applicant with overseas qualifications

(b) for applicant with Australian qualifications that are non-accredited

Application for letter of professional standing

Application for certification as highly accomplished or lead teacher (certification is for a period of 5 years)
