Race Field Information Publication Fee Variation Notice 2013
Tasracing Pty Ltd makes the following notice under section 54B(4) of the Racing Regulation Act 2004 .
This notice may be cited as the Race Field Information Publication Fee Variation Notice 2013 .
This notice takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this notice, the Race Field Information Publication Fee Notice 2011 is referred to as the Principal Notice.
4. Clause 4 varied
Clause 4 of the Principal Notice is varied by rescinding the clause and substituting the following clause:4. Race field information publication fee
(1) The race field information publication fee for each payment period during the relevant approval period (with effect from 1 July 2013) in relation to Tasmanian races is –(a) if the net turnover of the relevant approval holder exceeds $83 333 in the payment period, an amount that is the greater of –(i) 0.5% of that net turnover; and(ii) the aggregate of –(A) 13% of net revenue of the relevant approval holder in the payment period; and(B) in respect of thoroughbred Tasmanian races conducted during January and February in each year, an additional 2% of that net revenue in respect of those races –less –(C) if that net revenue exceeds $850 000 in the payment period, 3% of that net revenue exceeding $850 000 in the payment period; or(b) if the net turnover of the relevant approval holder does not exceed $83 333 in the payment period, nil.(2) All amounts referred to in subclause (1) are inclusive of GST.(3) The fee referred to in subclause (1) is to be calculated in accordance with the formula specified in the publication titled "Tasmanian Race Field Information Publication Standard Conditions of Approval Commencing 1 July 2013" issued and published by Tasracing.(4) An expression used in this clause has the same meaning as it has in the publication referred to in subclause (3) .
