Liquor Licensing (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2012

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 .

PART 1 - Preliminary

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Liquor Licensing (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2012 .

2.   Commencement

(1)  These regulations, other than Part 3 , take effect on 12 November 2012.
(2)  Part 3 takes effect on 1 January 2013.
PART 2 - Liquor Licensing (Fees) Regulations 2005 Amended

3.   Principal Regulations

In this Part, the Liquor Licensing (Fees) Regulations 2005 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Fees)

Clause 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:
(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) "25" and substituting "50";
(b) by omitting from paragraph (b) "198" and substituting "395";
(c) by omitting from paragraph (c) "100" and substituting "200";
(d) by omitting from paragraph (d) "100" and substituting "200";
(e) by omitting from paragraph (e) "25" and substituting "40";
(f) by omitting from paragraph (f) "66" and substituting "110";
(g) by omitting from paragraph (g) "77" and substituting "130";
(h) by omitting from paragraph (h) "154" and substituting "260".
PART 3 - Liquor Licensing (Fees) Regulations 2005 Further Amended

5.   Principal Regulations

In this Part, the Liquor Licensing (Fees) Regulations 2005 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

6.    Schedule 1 amended (Fees)

Clause 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:
(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) "329" and substituting "560";
(b) by omitting from paragraph (b) "198" and substituting "395";
(c) by omitting from paragraph (c) "154" and substituting "260";
(d) by omitting from paragraph (d) "198" and substituting "395";
(e) by omitting from paragraph (e) "154" and substituting "260";
(f) by omitting from paragraph (f) "154" and substituting "260".

These regulations amend the Liquor Licensing (Fees) Regulations 2005 by increasing the fees payable for annual liquor licences and liquor permit applications.
