Wildlife (General) Amendment Regulations 2012
I, the Administrator in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Nature Conservation Act 2002 .

These regulations may be cited as the Wildlife (General) Amendment Regulations 2012 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Wildlife (General) Regulations 2010 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 4A inserted
After regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations , the following regulation is inserted in Part 1:For the purposes of the definition of controlled animal in section 32 of the Act, the animals specified in Schedule 7A are prescribed to be controlled animals.

These regulations amend the Wildlife (General) Regulations 2010 by prescribing certain animals as controlled animals for the purposes of the Nature Conservation Act 2002 .
