Witness (Identity Protection) (Corresponding Laws) Amendment Regulations 2012
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Witness (Identity Protection) Act 2006 .

These regulations may be cited as the Witness (Identity Protection) (Corresponding Laws) Amendment Regulations 2012 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Witness (Identity Protection) (Corresponding Laws) Regulations 2010 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 4 amended (Corresponding laws)
Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting from paragraph (c) "Victoria." and substituting "Victoria;";(b) by inserting the following paragraphs after paragraph (c) :(d) Crimes (Protection of Witness Identity) Act 2011 of the Australian Capital Territory;(e) Part 4 of the Criminal Investigation (Covert Powers) Act 2011 of Western Australia.

These regulations amend the Witness (Identity Protection) (Corresponding Laws) Regulations 2010 by adding the Crimes (Protection of Witness Identity) Act 2011 of the Australian Capital Territory and Part 4 of the Criminal Investigation (Covert Powers) Act 2011 of Western Australia as laws that correspond to the Witness (Identity Protection) Act 2006 .
