Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Amendment Regulations 2011
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Public Health Act 1997 .

These regulations may be cited as the Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Amendment Regulations 2011 .
These regulations take effect on 1 January 2012.
In these regulations, the Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Regulations 2009 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 4 amended (Fees)
Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting from subregulation (1) "144 fee units" and substituting "207 fee units";(b) by omitting from subregulation (2) "144 fee units" and substituting "207 fee units";(c) by omitting from subregulation (3) "144 fee units" and substituting "207 fee units";(d) by inserting the following subregulation after subregulation (3) :(4) Subregulation (3) expires on 1 March 2012.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Regulations 2009 by (a) increasing certain fees that are payable under the Public Health Act 1997 in respect of tobacco sellers' licences; and(b) providing for the expiry on 1 March 2012 of regulation 4(3) consequent on the repeal of section 74K of that Act by the Public Health Amendment Act 2011 .
