Taxation Administration Amendment Regulations 2011
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Taxation Administration Act 1997 .

These regulations may be cited as the Taxation Administration Amendment Regulations 2011 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Taxation Administration Regulations 2010 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 4 amended (Permitted disclosures)
Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting from paragraph (g) "board." and substituting "board;";(b) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (g) :(h) the Director of Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading, in relation to his or her functions under the Motor Vehicle Traders Act 2011 .
These regulations are rescinded on the ninetieth day from the day on which they take effect.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Taxation Administration Regulations 2010 by prescribing that the Director of Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading, in respect of his or her functions under the Motor Vehicle Traders Act 2011 , is a person to whom a tax officer may disclose information under section 77(1)(e)(x) of the Taxation Administration Act 1997 .
