Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Amendment Order 2011
I make the following order under section 123G(1) of the Water Management Act 1999 .

This order may be cited as the Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Amendment Order 2011 .
This order takes effect on the transfer day within the meaning of the Irrigation Company Act 2011 .
In this order, the Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Order 2009 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Clause 4 amended (Exemption)
Clause 4(e) of the Principal Order is amended by omitting subparagraph (ii) .

This order is administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.
EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order amends the Water Management (Watercourse Authority Exemption) Order 2009 consequentially on the enactment of the Irrigation Company Act 2011 by omitting the Rivers and Water Supply Commission from the list of water entities to which Part 6A of the Water Management Act 1999 does not apply.
