Pharmacy Control (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2011

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Pharmacy Control Act 2001 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Pharmacy Control (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2011 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on 30 June 2011.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Pharmacy Control (Fees) Regulations 2010 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Fees)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:
(a) by inserting after item 8 the following items:

8A. 

Late fee for annual renewal of eligibility certificate – for individual

Section 61E

8B. 

Late fee for annual renewal of eligibility certificate – for a body corporate

(b) by inserting after item 11 the following item:

11A. 

Late fee for annual renewal of certificate of registration

(c) by omitting items 13 and 14 and substituting the following items:

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Pharmacy Control (Fees) Regulations 2010 by –
(a) prescribing additional fees payable in certain circumstances; and
(b) removing transitional fees that are no longer applicable.
