Taxi Industry Amendment Regulations 2010
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 2008 .

These regulations may be cited as the Taxi Industry Amendment Regulations 2010 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Taxi Industry Regulations 2008 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 52 amended (Obligation to display inspection labels)
Regulation 52 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " regulation 85(5) of the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2000 " and substituting " regulation 102(6) of the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2010 ".
5. Regulation 58 amended (Requirements for drivers and responsible operators of wheelchair-accessible taxis)
Regulation 58 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting from subregulation (1) " regulation 40(3) of the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2000 " and substituting " regulation 47(3) of the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2010 ";(b) by omitting from subregulation (3) " regulation 40(3) of the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2000 " and substituting " regulation 47(3) of the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2010 ".
