Administrative Arrangements Order (No. 2) Amendment Order (No. 2) 2010

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4(1) of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements Order (No. 2) Amendment Order (No. 2) 2010 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 21 July 2010.

3.   Interpretation

The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if this order were by-laws.

4.   Principal Order

In this order, the Administrative Arrangements Order (No. 2) 2010 is referred to as the Principal Order.

5.    Schedule 1 amended (Administration of Departments and Enactments)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting in Part 5 after

Stolen Generations of Aboriginal Children Act 2006

the following item:

Tasmanian Community Fund Act 2005

(b) by omitting the following item

Tasmanian Community Fund Act 2005

from Part 23 .

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Administrative Arrangements Order (No. 2) 2010 by transferring the Tasmanian Community Fund Act 2005 from the Department of Treasury and Finance under the Treasurer to the Department of Premier and Cabinet under the Minister for Community Development.
