Cooperatives Order 2010

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 369 of the Cooperatives Act 1999 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Cooperatives Order 2010 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Interpretation

In this order –

Act means the Cooperatives Act 1999 .

4.   Cooperatives law

The Co-operatives Act 1996 of Victoria is declared to be a cooperatives law for the purposes of Part 14 of the Act.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order is administered in the Department of Justice.

This order declares the Co-operatives Act 1996 of Victoria to be a cooperatives law for the purposes of Part 14 of the Cooperatives Act 1999 .
