Electricity Supply Industry Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2010
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995 .

These regulations may be cited as the Electricity Supply Industry Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2010 .
These regulations take effect on 1 June 2010.
In these regulations, the Electricity Supply Industry Regulations 2008 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 3 amended (Interpretation)
Regulation 3 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by inserting the following definition after the definition of Act :AEMO-registered electricity entity means an electricity entity that is required to be registered with AEMO under the National Electricity Rules;(b) by omitting "Act;" from the definition of licence and substituting "Act.";(c) by omitting the definition of NEMMCO-registered electricity entity .
5. Regulation 5 amended (Prescribed information to be published as condition of licence)
Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "a NEMMCO-registered" and substituting "an AEMO-registered".
6. Regulation 6 amended (How prescribed information to be published)
Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting from subregulation (1)(b) "a NEMMCO-registered" and substituting "an AEMO-registered";(b) by omitting from subregulation (2) "NEMMCO-registered" and substituting "AEMO-registered";(c) by omitting from subregulation (3) "A NEMMCO-registered" and substituting "An AEMO-registered";(d) by omitting from subregulation (4) "a NEMMCO-registered" and substituting "an AEMO-registered".
7. Schedule 1 amended (Prescribed Energy Production Capability Information)
Clause 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting "NEMMCO-registered" first occurring and substituting "AEMO-registered";(b) by omitting from paragraph (a) "NEMMCO-registered" and substituting "AEMO-registered".
These regulations are rescinded on the ninetieth day from the day on which they take effect.

These regulations amend the Electricity Supply Industry Regulations 2008 by replacing references to NEMMCO with references to AEMO (Australian Energy Market Operator) which replaced NEMMCO under the National Electricity Rules.
