Electoral Amendment Regulations 2009
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Electoral Act 2004 .

These regulations may be cited as the Electoral Amendment Regulations 2009 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Electoral Regulations 2005 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 5 rescinded
Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is rescinded.
5. Schedule 1 amended (Forms)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting Forms 3 and 4 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Electoral Regulations 2005 by omitting the forms relating to the declaration by candidates nominating for the House of Assembly and for the Legislative Council. As a result of an amendment to the Electoral Act 2004 , these declarations are to be in a form approved by the Tasmanian Electoral Commission.
