Proclamation under the Water and Sewerage Industry (Consequential and Transitional) Act 2008

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2 of the Water and Sewerage Industry (Consequential and Transitional) Act 2008  –

(a) fix 16 June 2009 as the day on which section 3 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Water and Sewerage Industry (Consequential and Transitional) Act 2008 commence; and
(b) fix 16 June 2009 as the day on which the provisions of Schedule 1 to the Water and Sewerage Industry (Consequential and Transitional) Act 2008 that insert, amend, repeal or substitute a provision of the Tasmanian Public Finance Corporation Act 1985 take effect; and
(c) fix 1 July 2009 as the day on which sections 5 and 6 of the Water and Sewerage Industry (Consequential and Transitional) Act 2008  commence; and
(d) fix 1 July 2009 as the day on which the provisions of Schedule 1 to the Water and Sewerage Industry (Consequential and Transitional) Act 2008  that insert, amend, repeal or substitute a provision of an Act other than the Tasmanian Public Finance Corporation Act 1985 take effect; and
(e) fix 1 October 2009 as the day on which section 4 , and Schedule 2 to, the Water and Sewerage Industry (Consequential and Transitional) Act 2008 commence.

This proclamation fixes the various days on which provisions of the Water and Sewerage Industry (Consequential and Transitional) Act 2008 commence and provisions in Schedule 1 to that Act take effect.
