Proclamation under the Government Business Enterprises (Sale) Act 2003

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Treasurer, by this my proclamation made under section 39(1) of the Government Business Enterprises (Sale) Act 2003  –

(a) repeal the Southern Regional Cemetery Act 1981 ; and

(b) declare that this proclamation takes effect on 10 September 2008.

This proclamation repeals the Southern Regional Cemetery Act 1981 consequent on the sale of the Southern Regional Cemetery Trust.
