Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (Waddamana to Risdon Vale Electricity Transmission Line Project) Amendment Order 2008
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister, make the following order under section 19(3) of the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals Act 1999 .

This order may be cited as the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (Waddamana to Risdon Vale Electricity Transmission Line Project) Amendment Order 2008 .
This order takes effect on 1 July 2008.
The Minister has determined that this order will not alter the Principal Order to such an extent or to such effect that the amending order should be submitted to Parliament for its approval.
In this order, the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (Waddamana to Risdon Vale Electricity Transmission Line Project) Order 2004 is referred to as the Principal Order.
5. Clause 3 amended (Interpretation)
Clause 3(1) of the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by omitting "Board of Environmental Management and Pollution Control established under section 12 of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 ;" from the definition of Board and substituting "Board of the Environment Protection Authority established under section 13 of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 ;";(b) by omitting the definition of Director .

This order amends the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (Waddamana to Risdon Vale Electricity Transmission Line Project) Order 2004 consequent on the enactment of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Amendment (Environment Protection Authority) Act 2007 by (a) replacing a reference to the Board of Environmental Management and Pollution Control with a reference to the Board of the Environment Protection Authority; and(b) omitting an obsolete reference to the Director of Environmental Management.
