Daylight Saving Regulations 2008

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Daylight Saving Act 2007 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Daylight Saving Regulations 2008 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which the Daylight Saving Act 2007 commences.

3.   Interpretation

In these regulations –
Act means the Daylight Saving Act 2007 .

4.   Prescribed period for purposes of section 4 of Act

The period commencing at the hour of 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in October in each year and ending at the hour of 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in April in the following year is prescribed for the purposes of section 4 of the Act.
