Travel Agents Amendment Regulations 2007
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Travel Agents Act 1987 .

These regulations may be cited as the Travel Agents Amendment Regulations 2007 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Travel Agents Regulations 2003 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 6 amended (Licence conditions)
Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "Board" and substituting "Director of Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading".
5. Regulation 8 amended (Register of licences)
Regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "Board" and substituting "Director of Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading".
6. Regulation 9 substituted
Regulation 9 of the Principal Regulations is rescinded and the following regulation is substituted:9. Form of notice to be displayed under section 37(1)
For the purposes of section 37(1) of the Act (a) the prescribed form of notice is a notice in the form set out below, but having the minimum dimensions of 200 millimetres by 200 millimetres, and in the colours respectively indicated on the image below; and(b) the prescribed particulars are those indicated in that form of notice.
7. Regulation 11 amended (Compensation scheme)
Regulation 11(2) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "Board" and substituting "Director of Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading".

These regulations amend the Travel Agents Regulations 2003 by omitting references to the Travel Agents' Licensing Board and substituting references to the Director of Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading.
