Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environmental Infringement Notices) Amendment Regulations 2007
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 .

These regulations may be cited as the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environmental Infringement Notices) Amendment Regulations 2007 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Distributed Atmospheric Emissions) Regulations 2007 take effect.
In these regulations, the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environmental Infringement Notices) Regulations 2006 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Schedule 2 amended (Prescribed offences)
Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting item 1 from Part 2 and substituting:1. Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Distributed Atmospheric Emissions) Regulations 2007

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environmental Infringement Notices) Regulations 2006 by (a) omitting provisions of the Environment Protection (Domestic Solid Fuel Burning Appliances) Regulations 1993 as offences in relation to which a person may accept an environmental infringement notice; and(b) inserting provisions of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Distributed Atmospheric Emissions) Regulations 2007 as offences in relation to which a person may accept an environmental infringement notice.
