Gas (Safety) Amendment Regulations 2007
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Gas Act 2000 .

These regulations may be cited as the Gas (Safety) Amendment Regulations 2007 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Gas (Safety) Regulations 2002 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 8 amended (Provision of training)
Regulation 8(1)(a) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "the Learning and Skills Authority;" and substituting "Skills Tasmania established under the Vocational Education and Training Act 1994 ;".

These regulations amend the Gas (Safety) Regulations 2002 consequent on the enactment of the Vocational Education and Training Amendment (Skills Tasmania) Act 2007 by replacing a reference to the Tasmanian Learning and Skills Authority with a reference to Skills Tasmania.
