Electricity Supply Industry (Price Control) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2006
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995 .

These regulations may be cited as the Electricity Supply Industry (Price Control) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2006 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Electricity Supply Industry (Price Control) Regulations 2003 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 37C amended (2007 retail price determination)
Regulation 37C(2) of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after paragraph (d) the following paragraph:(da) the determination is to allow for any costs associated with the preparation for participation in, and the participation in, the National Electricity Market attributable to providing services to the notional tariff base, as calculated in accordance with a methodology approved by the Regulator;

These regulations amend the Electricity Supply Industry (Price Control) Regulations 2003 by requiring that the Regulator take into account National Electricity Market participation costs in making an electricity retail price determination for 2007.
