State Service Amendment Regulations 2006
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the State Service Act 2000 .

These regulations may be cited as the State Service Amendment Regulations 2006 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the State Service Regulations 2001 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Schedule 1 amended (Offices prescribed for purposes of section 31(1)(b) of the Act)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting item 8 .

These regulations are administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

These regulations amend the State Service Regulations 2001 by omitting the office of Director of Local Government from the list of offices prescribed for the purposes of section 31(1)(b) of the State Service Act 2000 .
