Valuation of Land Order 2006

I make the following order under section 20(11) of the Valuation of Land Act 2001 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Valuation of Land Order 2006 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   First fresh valuation of lands

For the purpose of section 20(11) of the Valuation of Land Act 2001 , 2 July 2006 is specified as the date before which the first fresh valuation of lands within the valuation districts comprising the municipal areas of the following councils is to be made:

(a) Flinders Council;

(b) King Island Council;

(c) Derwent Valley Council;

(d) Tasman Council.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 21 June 2006

This order is administered in the Department of Primary Industries and Water.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order specifies 2 July 2006 as the date before which the first fresh valuation of lands within the valuation districts comprising the municipal areas of Flinders Council, King Island Council, Derwent Valley Council and Tasman Council is to be made.
