Mineral Resources Development (Exemption) Order 2006
I make the following order under section 5(4) of the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 .

This order may be cited as the Mineral Resources Development (Exemption) Order 2006 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Land exempt from Mineral Resources Development Act 1995
The area of land specified in Schedule 1 to this order is declared to be exempt from the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 .
SCHEDULE 1 - Exempt AreaAll that area of land in the land district of Russell comprising about 5 square kilometres bounded by heavy black lines on Plan 7040 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this order.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
Notified in the Gazette on 7 June 2006
This order is administered in the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources.
EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order declares that a 5 square kilometre area of land in the land district of Russell is exempt from the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 .
