Medical Practitioners Registration (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2006
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Medical Practitioners Registration Act 1996 .

These regulations may be cited as the Medical Practitioners Registration (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2006 .
These regulations take effect on 1 August 2006.
In these regulations, the Medical Practitioners Registration (Fees) Regulations 1998 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Schedule 1 amended (Fees)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting the table and substituting:

These regulations amend the Medical Practitioners Registration (Fees) Regulations 1998 by (a) increasing the annual registration fee and certain other fees payable under the Medical Practitioners Registration Act 1996 ; and(b) introducing a reduced registration fee for retired and non-practising medical practitioners.
