Plumbing Amendment Regulations 2005
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under section 233 of the Building Act 2000 .

These regulations may be cited as the Plumbing Amendment Regulations 2005 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Radiation Protection Act 2005 commences.
In these regulations, the Plumbing Regulations 2004 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 9 amended (Trade waste)
Regulation 9(8) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " Radiation Control Act 1977 " and substituting " Radiation Protection Act 2005 ".
5. Schedule 1 amended (Substances not allowed in sewers)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " Radiation Control Act 1977 " from item 2 and substituting " Radiation Protection Act 2005 ".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Plumbing Regulations 2004 by replacing references to the Radiation Control Act 1977 with references to the Radiation Protection Act 2005 consequent on the enactment of the latter Act.
