Dental Practitioners Registration Regulations 2005

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Dental Practitioners Registration Act 2001 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Dental Practitioners Registration Regulations 2005 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Prescribed national body

For the purposes of section 20(1)(a) of the Dental Practitioners Registration Act 2001 , the Australian Dental Council (ACN 072 269 900) is prescribed.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

These regulations are administered in the Department of Health and Human Services.

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations prescribe the Australian Dental Council to be a national body for the purposes of section 20(1)(a) of the Dental Practitioners Registration Act 2001.
