Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order 2005

I, the Administrator in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4(1) of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order 2005 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 11 July 2005.

3.   Interpretation

The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if this order were by-laws.

4.   Principal Order

In this order, the Administrative Arrangements Order 2005 is referred to as the Principal Order.

5.    Schedule 1 amended (Administration of Departments and Enactments)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting

TT-Line Arrangements Act 1993

in Part 9 after

Transport Act 1981

(b) by omitting

TT-Line Arrangements Act 1993

from Part 16 .

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Administrative Arrangements Order 2005 by transferring the administration of the TT-Line Arrangements Act 1993 from the Minister for Tourism to the Minister for Infrastructure, Energy and Resources.
