Valuation of Land Order 2005

I make the following order under section 20(11) of the Valuation of Land Act 2001 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Valuation of Land Order 2005 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   First fresh valuation of lands

(1)  The second of July 2005 is specified as the date before which the first fresh valuation of lands within the valuation districts comprising the municipal areas of the following councils is to be made after the commencement day:

(a) Dorset Council;

(b) Glamorgan-Spring Bay Council;

(c) Glenorchy City Council;

(d) Launceston City Council;

(e) Waratah-Wynyard Council.

(2)  In subclause (1)  –

commencement day means 28 June 2002.

Notified in the Gazette on 29 June 2005

This order is administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order specifies 2 July 2005 as the date before which the first fresh valuation of lands within the valuation districts comprising the municipal areas of the following councils is to be made after 28 June 2002:

(a) Dorset Council;

(b) Glamorgan-Spring Bay Council;

(c) Glenorchy City Council;

(d) Launceston City Council;

(e) Waratah-Wynyard Council.
