Crowd Controllers Amendment Regulations 2005
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Crowd Controllers Act 1999 .

These regulations may be cited as the Crowd Controllers Amendment Regulations 2005 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Crowd Controllers Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 4 amended (Competency requirements)
Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting subparagraph (vi) from paragraph (a) and substituting the following subparagraphs:(vi) THHBTHS17A Observe and monitor people;(vii) THHBFB09A Provide responsible service of alcohol; or(b) by omitting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraph:(b) a qualification or statement of attainment which includes the following competency standards in relation to the Asset Security Industry endorsed by the Australian National Training Authority:(i) PRSS0202A Maintain workplace safety;(ii) PRSS0204A Work as part of a team;(iii) PRSS0206A Provide first aid;(iv) PRSS0207A Respond to security risk situation;(v) PRSS0210A Control access to and exit from premises;(vi) PRSS0211A Monitor and control individual and crowd behaviour;(vii) THHBFB09A Provide responsible service of alcohol.

These regulations amend the Crowd Controllers Regulations 2000 by revising the competency requirements prescribed for the purposes of sections 5 , 12 , 15 and 16 of the Crowd Controllers Act 1999 .
