Workplace Health and Safety Amendment Regulations 2004
I, the Administrator in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 .

These regulations may be cited as the Workplace Health and Safety Amendment Regulations 2004 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Vocational Education and Training Amendment (Tasmanian Learning and Skills Authority) Act 2004 commences.
In these regulations, the Workplace Health and Safety Regulations 1998 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 9 amended (Provision of training and service)
Regulation 9(1)(a) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "Tasmanian State Training Authority" and substituting "Tasmanian Learning and Skills Authority established under the Vocational Education and Training Act 1994 ".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Workplace Health and Safety Regulations 1998 by replacing a reference to the Tasmanian State Training Authority with a reference to the Tasmanian Learning and Skills Authority consequent on the enactment of the Vocational Education and Training Amendment (Tasmanian Learning and Skills Authority) Act 2004 .
