Mineral Resources Development (Fossil Site) Order 2004

I make the following order under section 163(1) of the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Mineral Resources Development (Fossil Site) Order 2004 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Fossil site

The area specified in Schedule 1 to this order is declared to be a fossil site.
SCHEDULE 1 - Fossil Site
All that area comprising about 20 square kilometres in the vicinity of Christmas Hills shown hatched and bounded by a heavy black line on Plan 6533 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this order.
