Racing Regulation Amendment (Forecast Totalizator) Regulations (No. 2) 2004
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Racing Regulation Act 1952 .

These regulations may be cited as the Racing Regulation Amendment (Forecast Totalizator) Regulations (No. 2) 2004 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Racing Regulation Regulations 1976 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
Regulation 114AA of the Principal Regulations is rescinded.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Racing Regulation Regulations 1976 by rescinding the regulation which prescribes a percentage for the purposes of section 57M(1A)(e) of the Racing Regulation Act 1952 . As a result, the amount that TOTE Tasmania deducts as commission from its total receipts for forecast totalizator betting remains as specified in that section.
