Fisheries (General and Fees) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2003
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 .

These regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (General and Fees) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2003 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Fisheries (General and Fees) Regulations 1996 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 6B amended (Possession by fish processing licence holder)
Regulation 6B of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by inserting "(1)" before "The holder";(b) by inserting the following subregulations:(2) Subregulation (1)(a) and (b) do not apply to abalone that has been cultivated elsewhere than in the wild.(3) The holder of a fish processing licence must ensure that, prior to processing, abalone cultivated elsewhere than in the wild is stored separately from abalone taken from the wild.Penalty: Fine not exceeding the applicable Grade 3 penalty.
5. Regulation 6D amended (Taking or possessing certain abalone)
Regulation 6D of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (b) in subregulation (1) :(ba) is the holder of a fish processing licence who has bought or received the abalone from the holder of a marine farming licence authorising abalone farming; or(b) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (b) in subregulation (2) :(ba) is the holder of a fish processing licence who has bought or received the abalone from the holder of a marine farming licence authorising abalone farming; or

These regulations amend the Fisheries (General and Fees) Regulations 1996 by amending the regulations that relate to the minimum size of abalone that the holder of a fish processing licence may possess.
