Mineral Resources Development (Fossicking Areas) Amendment Order 2003

I make the following order under section 116 of the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Mineral Resources Development (Fossicking Areas) Amendment Order 2003 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Order

In this order, the Mineral Resources Development (Fossicking Areas) Order 1996 is referred to as the Principal Order.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Fossicking areas)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended by omitting "lines on Plan No. 3672" from Part 6 and substituting "lines, excluding the area identified as Lune River Fossil Site, on Plan No. 6343".

5.    Schedule 2 amended (Plans)

Schedule 2 to the Principal Order is amended by omitting Part 6 and substituting:

PART 6 - Lune River fossicking area

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 17 December 2003

This order is administered in the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources.

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Mineral Resources Development (Fossicking Areas) Order 1996 by changing the area of land at Lune River that is declared to be a fossicking area.
